Kab. Mojokerto (MIN 3 Mojokerto) – Untuk mencegah Stunting atau kekurangan gizi pada usia dini, pada Kamis (23/10) seluruh siswa MIN 3 Mojokerto mulai dari kelas 1 s.d kelas 6 mendapatkan tambahan Obat Cacing secara gratis dari UPT Puskesmas Puri.
Riski Deni Rachmawati, salah satu petugas dari UPT Puskesmas Puri, menyampaikan bahwa, pemberian obat cacing ini dilakukan setiap 6 bulan sekali dan setiap siswa mendapatkan 1 kaplet obat cacing. “Kegiatan rutin ini dilakukan oleh pemerintah, melalui UPT Puskesmas Puri bekerja sama dengan MIN 3 Mojokerto” tambahnya.
Selain mencegah cacingan pada anak-anak usia dini, Obat cacing berjenis Albendazole (400 mg) ini juga bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan penyerapan gizi, mendukung tumbuh kembang anak serta meningkatkan nafsu makan dan daya tahan tubuh atau imunitas. (dik)
